The Filipino Drivers

They say that in other countries, the motorists and drivers drive by the rules, while in the Philippines, drivers drive by instinct.

It's funny that somehow this joke had been spread in a way that seems both derogatory and somehow ridiculous. But it's ironic that we as a people tend to accept it as if it's a given, and no matter how much we'd like to try, we cannot change this truth.

Is there any way we can do something about this? Of course, we can do something about it!

Start first with the way you drive and approach other motorists, and then you will start a ripple of change that will change the way other people interact towards you and other drivers as well.

Welcome to the JDI blog

This blog aims to promote social awareness among the travellers, tourists and residents of Iloilo who commute. In this way we can learn about the Jeepney Drivers of certain districts who're to be proud of, and who're bad eggs.

This blog is open to all blogger members who'd like to participate in sharing their experiences in getting the most out of your commuting experience. Anyone is free to share their tested and proven ways in dealing with social situations that requires tact in dealing with motorists and other passengers.
